Scott Loy has been creating images for over thirty-five years in the fields of Advertising, Editorial, Commercial, Architectural and Fine Art. The last fifteen years he has resided in San Luis Obispo County content to raise his three children along with his wife of twenty-two years, Jodi.

He attended Art Center College of Design, one of the top Art schools in the nation, and majored in Photography. Upon leaving Art Center, he assisted for top named photographers on both the West and East Coast shooting for such prestigious clients as Toyota, Mazda, Black Glama Minks, Broadway Department Stores, May Company, House Beautiful Magazine, L.A. Times and Warner Records.

In 1978, Scott was hired as the Senior Photographer for Walt Disney Imagineering, formally WED Enterprises. During his tenure there, he worked on EPCOT, Tokyo Disneyland, Walt Disney World and Disneyland. The variety of assignments had him traveling to different countries, including Mexico, Italy, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Upon leaving Imagineering, Scott started his own commercial advertising studio. He continued to travel for a variety of corporate accounts traveling to the Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Italy, England and France on assignment. Some of his clients have included: Universal Studios, The Cousteau Society, Cellular One, Tamrac Enterprises, Dioptics, TRW, Apple Farm, Martin Brothers Winery, JBL Scientific, IBM Corporation and David Copperfield.

Scott's most recent photography and fine art prints reflect the quality and remarkable techniques that have been influenced by the talents of George Lepp and other guest lecturers and authors, including Ben Willmore, Jack Davis, Katrine Eiseman, Tim Grey and Charlie Cramer who have visited the Lepp Institute in Los Osos, California.

Scott's current photography and fine art prints are an example of the quality and remarkable techniques that the George Lepp and his guest instructors have influenced his work.

Recently he's taken to the skies....literally!  The world or low-altitude aerial photography has become the newest a most exciting area for him. So stay tuned for an announcement of a new page designed strictly for aerial photos of the Central Coast.
